Dr. Karen Cousins is a native of Slidell, Louisiana. She graduated LSU with a B.S. in Animal Science and Technology in 2013. She later attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and upon finishing up her clinical year back home at LSU, received her DVM in 2019. Her interests include preventative medicine, exotics, and integrative medicine. She has two fur babies at home, Lola (dog) and Mama Mew (cat). She enjoys baking, eating out, travel, Netflix, and spending time with family.
